| Contracting terms: Guaranteed participant number and 50% deposit required 2 weeks prior to tour date. Guaranteed count is on a per ride basis. Guaranteed count may be increased up to 24 hours prior to the tour based on bike availability. No reductions accepted after contract signing. Inclement Weather Policy: Adventure is not in our name by accident! Rarely do we experience rain in our lovely area; however, we make all tours available during all weather conditions. Tour will be canceled due to weather at the sole discretion of ABT out of concerns for safety. Generally, we ride in the rain. Standard Policies: All riders are required to wear helmets; no exceptions. ABT will not be responsible for the maintenance or suitability of any personal bike brought by a guest. Transportation of guest-owned bikes to start points requires prior notification. Any rider who falls, regardless of severity, may be required to ride in the chase vehicle until such point as ABT, at its sole discretion, determines guest is able to rejoin tour. Any rider who falls and appears to ABT personnel to be in need of further medical treatment or evaluation beyond basic first aid, will be given required first-aid and transported to the nearest hospital emergency room. If rider refuses further medical treatment, they will be asked to sign a statement to that effect on the "ABT Tour Report" carried in the chase vehicle. Severe injuries or unconsciousness of any duration will prompt an immediate cellular call to 911 for ambulance transport. Riders exhibiting dangerous riding practices will be counseled. If practices continue, guest will be asked to ride in the chase vehicle or accompanying coach at ABT's sole discretion. We pride ourselves on our ability to pace a tour to insure its completion on schedule. We will alter (lengthen or shorten) standard routes based on the pace of the group at our sole discretion to assure timely tour completion. Riders who are considerably slower than the rest of their group will be encouraged to ride in the chase vehicle for a portion of the ride. If they continue to slow an entire group they will be required to ride in the chase vehicle. Suggestions to Riders: Comfortable lightweight clothes. Athletic shoes with socks. Sunscreen. Sunglasses. Camera. ABT chase vehicle will carry any guest-owned items (extra clothing layers, cameras, hats, purses, etc.) which would be difficult or dangerous for the rider to have on the bike.
